Table-top Studio Workshop

On the 21st of October, I attended a workshop with Marc Le Galle, Kellie, Marie from Design Vaults, Hollie and Stephen.

We photographed the latest set of Marie’s jewellery designs. I hadn’t realised the extent of product photography before. Because of the jewellery shape and shine, it took a lot of reflectors, foam boards, etc. to get the right shot and a lot of retrying to get the perfect angle. It also took a lot of us to crowd around the table holding reflectors so that there was no reflection of ourselves in the jewellery.

It was a really great experience to learn about product and table top photography and it will be invaluable to have this experience.
